Sonali Bendre’s Emotional Comment Will Make You Sad

B town celeb Sonali Bendre is still battling with cancer. Recently, she is in New York for her cancer treatment. So, she misses very badly the most auspicious festival of Maharashtra.

From last day, the whole Maharashtra people are occupied with decoration and making Prasad for the much-awaited festival Ganesh Chaturthi. Most of all Bollywood celebs have welcomed Lord Ganesh to their homes. From Amitabh Bachchan to Arpita Khan Sharma, sister of Salman Khan, everyone shared the inside pictures of decorations and smiling faces with Ganesh on their social media platforms. But Sonali Bendre missed this festival because she is in New York currently due to her cancer treatment.

It’s very obvious things that when the festive season is coming and you are not able to participate due to some important reason. The same thing happens with Sonali Bendre. She is missing the celebration as its very close to her heart but nonetheless, she feels blessed.

For the Ganesh Chaturthi, Sonali’s husband Goldie Behl and son Ranveer came back to Mumbai. She posted a picture of her son and wrote,. “#GaneshChaturthi has always been very very close to my heart. Missing the celebrations back home, but still feeling blessed. Have a happy one, filled with blessings, love and joy!”

When Sonali Bendre broke her cancer news on her social media platform, she stated that, “Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been diagnosed with a high grade cancer that has metastised, which we frankly did not see coming. A niggling pain led to some tests, which led to this unexpected diagnosis. My family and close friends have rallied around me, providing the best support system that anyone can ask for. I am very blessed and thankful for each of them.”
She also added that ,” There is no better way to tackle this, than to take swift and immediate action. And so, as advised by my doctors, I am currently undergoing a course of treatment in New York. We remain optimistic and I am determined to fight every step of the way. What has helped has been the immense outpouring of love and support I’ve received over the past few days, for which I am very grateful.I’m taking this battle head on, knowing I have the strength of my family and friends behind me.”

Recently she posted a picture and wrote,  “Today is #ReadABookDayand what better way to celebrate it than by announcing the next book for #SBC! This one is a historical fiction set in Russia called “A Gentleman in Moscow” by @amortowles. The premise sounds pretty interesting, and I can’t wait to start reading it! #SonalisBookClub.”
