#MeToo: With You In Support, Says Dia Mirza To The Journalist Karishma


Last day, some sexual harassment allegation news against Bollywood director Sajid Khan came in front of us. The most important thing is that everyone supports it and raise their voice on social media.

However, the director of Housefull 4 Sajid Khan also stepped out from the directorial job. Last night, actress Saloni Chopra alleged that Sajid Khan harassed her sexually. Saloni also told that “Sajid told her directors wouldn’t cast her unless she was ready to be their kept.”

The #METOO movement has finally landed in India with holding the hands of the actress Tanushree Dutta, especially in the entertainment industry. After Tanushree Dutta, now one by one woman is revealing about sexual harassment case on social media platform and raising their voice.

Recently, Bollywood actress Dia Mirza supported METOO movement and journalist Karishma Upadhyay who tweeted about Sajid Khan’s story of the sexual harassment case. Dia Mirza wrote, “I am so sorry you had to go through this @karishmau. With you in support. #MeToo.”

Not only Dia Mirza, even after sexual harassment allegations against the producer Sajid Khan and the fellow actor Nana Patekar came into the limelight, Housefull 4 actor Akshay Kumar decided to quit. Akshay Kumar returned to India from Italy and requested the producer to cancel the shoot until further investigation.

However, Farhan Akhtar also tweeted, “I cannot adequately stress how shocked, disappointed and heartbroken I am to read the stories about Sajid’s behaviour. I don’t know how but he will have to find a way to atone for his alleged actions.”

On Thursday,  journalist Karishma Upadhyay tweeted about Sajid Khan who has preyed on women in the industry for years. She wrote, “The first time I interviewed Sajid Khan in the early 2000s, he called me to the house he shared w/ his sister. Thru the interview he talked about how large his penis is & how he knew how to satisfy a woman.”

The most important thing is that women are not in fear to unveil the name of the person and everyone is supporting them. From Nana Patekar, Alok Nath, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Vikas Bahl to Sajid Khan have accused of a sexual harassment case.
