Mouni Roy SLAMMED Twitter User Who Said She Was Sexually Harassed By Reema Kagti

Mouni Roy made a valid point with her reply.

While #MeToo movement has unearthed several sexual predators misusing their power to sexually assault women, many Bollywood female filmmakers have pledged to not work with any proven offenders. One of them is Reema Kagti, who is known for films like Taalash starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Rani Mukerji as well as Gold starring Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy.

However, one Twitter user called it “Hypocrisy” claiming that Reema Kagti has sexually harassed Mouni Roy during the shooting of GOLD.

This Guy’s Tweet reads, “Oh come on with this hypocrisy!! Reema Kagti has herself been known to s*xually harass Roymouni during Gold movie! The blinds r all over the net! N she is part of this?? 🤔🤔”

Mouni Roy, who made her Bollywood debut with Gold decided to respond to this claim. She said that she has not been sexually harassed by anyone on the set of Gold. She also urged not to make such malign statement as it would take away from women who have been wronged.

Mouni Roy tweeted, “I was not harassed on the set of Gold by anyone. Director or otherwise. I wish this maligning would stop as it not only harassing me and Reema Kagti but also taking away from women that have truly been wronged.@konkonas @rachitmehrotra.”

That’s perfect answer by Mouni Roy.
