Ghoomer, which was directed by R. Balki, promises to be a nice treat for cricket fans. The life of a young, gifted paraplegic cricketer, played by Saiyami Kher, is the focus of the film. Bishan Singh Bedi, a great cricketer, is also featured in the movie. Additionally, Angad Bedi, who plays a significant part in the film, can be seen beaming with joy at the prospect of appearing on screen with his father, Bishan Singh Bedi.

He said, “This is a dream come true for me. To be on the same film and credit list as my father, who is not only a legendary cricketer but also an incredible human being, is an honor. Working alongside Saiyami and Abhishek has been a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait for the audience to witness the magic we have created together. It’s iconic because both AB and Big B and my father and I are in the same film, which is surely an exciting treat to watch. Balki sir has brought everyone together for the film, and I’m excited my dad will be seen on screen in this amazing film that is dedicated to the sports he most loves and has contributed to”.
Left-arm orthodox bowler Bishan Singh Bedi was a slow bowler. He was a member of the renowned Indian spin four and played Test cricket for India from 1966 to 1979. He appeared in 67 Test matches overall and claimed 266 wickets. In 22 Test matches, he also served as captain of the national team. Bishan Singh Bedi spoke bluntly and directly on cricket-related issues while donning a vibrant patka.
In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award. With 1 wicket for 6 runs in his 12 overs, which included 8 maidens, Bishan Singh Bedi retains the record for the most economical bowling stats in a 60-over ODI match among bowlers who have completed their allotted overs.
In addition to Ghoomer, Angad will be making his South Indian debut with the Telugu movie Hi Nanna, starring South Asian superstar Nani and Mrunal Thakur. Hi Nanna is now being shot while he simultaneously promotes his film, Ghoomer. The filming is currently in full gear.
