Bollywood’s new parents Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have lately been making the headlines for the birth of their first-born. On the occasion of the country’s 72nd Republic Day, the couple took to their respective social media accounts to greet netizens.
While Anushka shared an animated video of the Indian flag, which said “’Happy Republic Day”, hubby Virat posted a message on his Instagram story that said “The future depends on what we do today. Let’s be the strength of our nation and help it reach greater heights. Wishing everyone Happy Republic Day. Jai Hind,” Check out their stories below-

While the media is dying to catch a glimpse of Anushka and Virat’s new born daughter, Anushka recently told Vogue that “I think it’s a decision your child should be able to take. No kid should be made to be more special than the other. It’s hard enough for adults to deal with it. It’s going to be difficult, but we intend to follow through.” Expressing her concern over the insane ‘paparazzi culture’.
Anushka was last seen on the big screen in 2018’s ‘Zero’, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The actress has since taken a ‘break’ from acting, stating she was exhausted and needed some time away. Although we may have not seen her on screen, she has kept herself busy in the meanwhile with her production house Clean State Filmz, which produced ‘Pataal Lok’ and ‘Bulbbul’.
