The Indian Space Research Organization’s third lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3, was launched on July 14 and is scheduled to land on the Moon today, August 23, at 6:04 p.m. The mission’s lander has been named after scientist Vikram Sarabhai, and it has sparked excitement and pride among numerous Bollywood superstars who have shown their support on social media. The launch was a success, and the forthcoming landing is likely to be groundbreaking.
The spacecraft is scheduled to settle at the Moon’s South Pole. Badshah, a rapper, tweeted his congratulations on the landing and stated, “Aa gayi ghadi hai dekho sabse badi, hai humse bas do kadam pe dekho jeet khadi! #Chandrayaan3Landing @isro.”
Riteish Deshmukh took to Twitter to express his joy and satisfaction by posting a selfie of himself wearing an ISRO t-shirt. He stated, “It’s #Chandrayaan3Landing Day 6.04 PM… (Indian flag).”
Anupam Kher came to Instagram and released a video with the caption, “Aaj ghar ke mandir mein #Chandrayaan3 ki safalta ke liye prathna ki. Humare @isro.in ke vigyanik ke anthak prayatno ki mehnat rang lai, uske liye pooja ki. Sabhi vigyanikon ko advance mein shubhkamnaein avam badhai. Jai Mahadev. Jai Bajrang Bali. Jai Shree Ram. Jai Hind.”
Shekhar Kapur also tweeted a photo of the Moon and said, “Almost 250.000 kms away today. India’s #Chandrayaan3Mission will attempt a landing in the darkness .. on the far side of the moon. A billion hearts praying for its safe landing that will lead India to the forefront of the world’s exploration of space. Jai Hind. #isroindia.”
R Madhavan took to Twitter and wrote, “Chandrayaan-3 WILL BE ABSOLUTE SUCCESS —- MARK MY WORDS. Congratulations @isro.. IN ADVANCE .. on this spectacular success .. I AM SO SO HAPPY AND PROUD … congratulations to @NambiNOfficial too .. Vikas engine delivers yet once again during the launch.”
Rishab Shetty shared the photos of the surface of the Moon and wrote, “Tomorrow marks yet another milestone for India, thrilled to be part of witnessing this historic day. Let’s join in prayer for the safe landing of the #VikramLander.”
Kareena said at a media event, “It’s a great and proud moment for India and all the Indians. You feel that pride in your heart. As Indians, all of us are waiting to watch it. A lot of people are going to be glued to watching it. I will also be doing that with my boys, with bated breath.”
Amitabh Bachchan expressed his hope for the mission’s safe landing on the most recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15. He then delivered a few words on the Vikram lander’s encounter with ‘Chanda Mama’. He stated, “Kal shaam ko jab chand niklega na, toh uss chand ki mitti par humare desh ke kadmon ki chaap hogi. Kal humara Chandrayaan-3, apne Maama ke ghar, yaani ke Chanda maama ke ghar pahuchega. Kal humare bachpan ke kahaniyon ka chand, premika ke chehre ka chand, vrat aur tyoharon ka chaand apne desh ki pahuch mein hoga.”
“I am feeling very proud,” Abhishek Bachchan stated in an interview with a top news outlet. It will touch down on the evening of the 23rd, and our hearts leap with pleasure because our space program has reached the moon.”
Meanwhile, famous musician Hariharan stated, “The entire country is united in this… we can achieve anything when we work together.”
