Deepika Padukone is presently promoting her new film Gehraiyaan. In the midst of all, through sources had the opportunity to chat exclusively with the actress on how she and Ranveer Singh continue to root for each other’s films despite not being involved in them. Ranveer recently tweeted a wonderful snapshot of Deepika on her birthday and kindly plugged her film Gehraiyaan’s promotion into it. Deepika spoke exclusively to the news portal about it, saying that it took a long for her and Ranveer to realise that after Padmaavat, they might be making projects where they aren’t both in it.
Deepika reflected on the situation and stated, “He’s (Ranveer Singh) always been a fan of my work, which is funny because when we first met, we were working on films together, and his first film after Padmaavat was Gully Boy. So it seemed weird for me to say, “Okay, now you’re doing a film without me in it,” and then have a release without him. Because our first engagement with each other was as co-stars, it took some time to adjust. It took some time for us to detach from that and be able to communicate as actors without being in that film.”
