Kannada actress and former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant, Jayashree Ramaiah passed away today morning from suicide at her residence in Bengaluru. The Bengaluru police stated that the actress was found hanging in her room at her house in Pragathi Layout in Magadi Road, Bengaluru. Jayashree’s body has been sent for post-mortem for further investigation.
Last year, Jayshree had made the headlines for her cryptic yet alarming Facebook status which said “I quit. Goodbye to this f***g world and depression.” However, Jayashree later went on to delete the post and instead shared a new status saying “I’m Alright and safe!! Love you all.”
Jayashree, was known for her work in the 2017 Kannada movie ‘Uppu Huli Khara’, which also starred Malashri in the lead role. The movie was her debut movie and was directed by Imran Sardhariya. She was also a contestant of the 3rd season of Bigg Boss Kannada. Her sudden demise has certainly saddened her fans and the Kannada film industry.
