Imran Khan is prepared to return to the industry after an extended sabbatical. While he is supposedly working on a secret project, his admirers have reminisced over his rom-com days on social media. He has, however, become more active on social media, sharing tales from his prior ventures, one of which was Delhi Belly.
Aamir Khan produced the comedic drama ”Delhi Belly” in 2011, starring his nephew Imran Khan, Vir Das, and Kunaal Roy Kapur. This film was filled with profanity and violence, and it obtained an A rating from the censor board.
Imran took a trip down memory lane by sharing some behind-the-scenes photos from the sets. The actor has lately joined Instagram, and fans are pleading for him to return to the screen.
He was positive that it was a once-in-a-lifetime film. He wrote, “No sob stories and no excuses here. I freaking LOVED Delhi Belly. Every single day that we worked on that film, I was sure of two things: first, that it was a once-in-a-lifetime movie, the kind that you feel lucky to be a part of. And second, there was no way the censor board would ever let us release this thing. I’m glad I was only wrong on the second count! Here’s a look at the makeup test for my swollen eye, and a picture of the boys doing some ‘method acting’ as part of pre-production. Just to make the characters more believable, obviously. @virdas @realkunaalroykapur”
Vir Das commented in the comments section, “Three of us shared a van situation for a year of our lives. I’ve seen the two of you in your underwear more than I’ve seen any other men before or since. All that aside, it really was a magical place where everyone felt lucky. And it was an honor to be in the trenches with you two.”
Abhinay Deo directed and Akshat Verma wrote Delhi Belly, which starred Poorna Jagannathan and Shenaz Treasurywala.
Many of them wanted a follow-up to the 2011 picture. “Would like a sequel,” one person wrote. “If you ever wanna come back with a bang, Delhi Belly 2 would be the perfect project!” said another.
“I’m completely smitten with this one. I skipped school and went to the movies with my high school lover. “Hahaha Awaiting sequel since its release,” a third fan said. “Eagerly awaiting your return,” said a fourth fan. Others were also seen pleading with Imran to return quickly.
