It is Sushant Singh Rajput’s birthday today and fans worldwide are remembering the late actor. While netizens are paying him a tribute by using the hashtag #SushantDay, Kangana Ranaut has taken this opportunity to take a jab at Karan Johar and YRF.
Karan Johar and YRF found themselves in the middle of controversies when Sushant Singh Rajput died in June 2020. His sudden demise led to several allegations made on some of the B-Town biggies, blaming them for his death. YRF and Karan Johar were also blamed as they had apparently ‘boycotted’ Sushant from the industry, depriving him of his success.
On his birthday, netizens started questioning both YRF and Karan Johar on this issue. This caught the attention of controversy queen Kangana Ranaut, who has already spoken on several occasions against Karan Johar and other Bollywood actors. Today, she yet again tweeted her two cents on nepotism and the movie mafia.
She posted a few pictures of Sushant, saying “Dear Sushant, the movie mafia banned you, bullied you and harassed you, many times on social media you asked for help and I regret not being there for you. I wish I didn’t assume you are strong enough to handle mafia torture on your own. I wish … Happy Birthday dear one #SushantDay.”

When one thought this was enough, she further drove her point by adding “Never forget before his death Sushant wrote on his social media that movie mafia is trying to throw him out of film industry and sought help from his followers in making his film a success. He complained about nepotism in his interviews. His blockbuster films were declared flop.”
