Actress Katrina Kaif has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry with her versatile acting performances and down-to-earth personality. She is a role model for many women, as she advocates for natural beauty through her amazing beauty brand Kay Beauty. She recently posted a video explaining their new lip oil and its benefits, however she came under the scanner of the netizens because she looked different.
Posted on Kay Beauty’s official Instagram handle, Katrina looked gorgeous as ever. Dressed in a light-coloured traditional attire, she completed her look with finger rings, bangles, subtle makeup and styled hair. As she goes on to explain more about the new product and applies it to her lips, netizens were busy speculating if she went under the knife because her face looked different.
While fans came to her rescue by stating that it might just be the filter of the video which is making her nose look like that, netizens were adamant that she underwent nose surgery. Many even schooled her for setting up unrealistic beauty standards. One wrote, “But u dont look natural at all. Get over this and learn to accept however u are. U r setting bad and unrealistic examples of beauty. Our next generation needs to go beyond this.” Another wrote, “She looks different.” Other one wrote, “Literally most of the actors look the same these days..had to have a pause to recognise her.”
For the unversed, Katrina tied the knot with actor Vicky Kaushal in December 2019 in a closed off ceremony. While they had maintained privacy about their dating life, it was reported that they were together for three years, before deciding to get married. The duo is often seen giving couple goals with the cutesy social media posts. Post-wedding, Vicky and Kat have openly discussed their relationship and how being with each other has impacted them.
On the work front, Katrina will be next seen in the high-octane action spy-drama co-starring Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi. She has Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa and Merry Christmas in her pipeline.
