Actress Mouni Roy has finally tied the knot with her beau Suraj Nambiar on Thursday, January 27. Because of the rise of COVID-19 instances, the couple opted to keep their wedding small and modest, with just close friends and family present. In the morning, the pair married according to South Indian customs, with the bride looking stunning in a red and white traditional saree. Suraj Nambiar, on the other hand, looked dashing in traditional costume.

Pictures and videos of Mouni wearing a red bridal lehenga have gone viral on social media. The bride wore a lovely Sabyasachi lehenga in the deepest shade of red, paired with the iconic gota kiran. ‘Ayushmati bhava’ was engraved on the edge of Mouni’s bridal dupatta, and she accessorised her lehenga with uncut diamond and emerald jewellery. With a medium-sized nose ring and smokey makeup, the actor maintained her appearance classic. Mouni was glowing from head to toe. In the presence of their family and close friends, Mouni and Suraj married in a luxurious hotel in Goa. On the big day, Mandira Bedi, Arjun Bijlani, Aashka Goradia, Rohini Iyer, and Manmeet Singh (of the Meet Bros team) were present to bless the newlyweds.
While everything about Mouni’s look was lovely and dreamy, a smidgeon of sindoor (vermillion) left on her nose brought the whole thing together like magic. Mouni donned a white and red silk saree for her Malayalee wedding, which took place during the day, and was styled by Ritika Devnani. In white and red lehengas, she chose to go delicate yet contemporary for her Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies. Do you think Mouni’s crimson bridal look is stunning?
