Pawan Kalyan asserted there is no nepotism in the Telugu cinema industry at the Bro pre-release event. In his address, he also used Chiranjeevi as an example.

At the pre-release screening of his upcoming movie Bro, Pawan Kalyan spoke about the claims of nepotism in the Telugu cinema business. The film industry is not unique to any family or individual, Pawan remarked as he spoke to his nephews and actors Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, and Vaishnav Tej. He also shared his experience in the business thus far.

The film Bro, directed by Samuthirakani, is a remake of Vinodhaya Sitham, the director’s original Tamil film. Sai Dharam Tej, Priya Prakash Varrier, Ketika Sharma, Brahmanandam, and Subbaraju are featured as well. Pawan discussed his initial response to the proposal that he pursue acting during the event. He also mentioned how Chiranjeevi, an actor who rose to fame despite coming from a lower middle class family and having no connections, inspired him.

He declared during his speech that “the doors to cinema and politics are open for all.” Additionally, he said that although there can be issues inside families, the audience would always come first. Despite our disagreements, we all work very hard to provide you with entertainment. Why can’t others do it if people like us with common origins can?” he continued.
Recently, there were reports which suggested that Pawan Kalyan is on the verge of divorce with his third wife Anna Lezhneva. However, the official Twitter handle of Jana Sena Party posted a picture of Pawan Kalyan with his third wife. They got married in 2013 and have two kids, Polena Anjana Pawanova and Mark Shankar Pawanovich.
Pawan was last seen in Bheemla Nayak, which also starred Rana Daggubati. Directed by Saagar K Chandra, the film follows two men – a police SI and a suspended army havildar – who lock horns over an incident and their egos take them on a wild trip. He also has Hari Hara Veera Mallu lined up for release. It marks his maiden collaboration with filmmaker Krish Jagrlamudi. Besides this, he also has Ustaad Bhagat Singh, a project which marks his reunion with director Harish Shankar, in the offing.
