With Ghudchadi, the 32-year-old will make his Bollywood debut. Yes, you read that correctly. According to reports, Samthaan would soon be seen on screen opposite Sanjay Dutt. Nothing regarding his collaboration with the legendary actor has been revealed thus far. He also discussed leaving the television profession, saying it was tough to leave his comfort zone, and that even before entering television, he had always wanted to do films since he was a youngster.

Parth Samthaan’s decision to leave the television arena to pursue other mediums was nothing short of audacious and deliberate. “Yes, it was a conscious decision to avoid TV in favour of OTT platforms and films,” the actor admits.
The 32-year-old is thrilled to be appearing opposite Sanjay Dutt, who plays his father in the film, and describes it as an “incredible opportunity,” adding, “It’s a dream come true for me, and I’m eager to showcase my versatility on the big screen.”
“Somewhere or the other, creative space takes over, and there comes a point when you need to put your foot down. It’s not easy, and it will never be because you have to leave your comfort zone. You have to start from scratch. But still, I wanted to take that chance. Even before getting into television, I wanted to do films ever since I was a kid,” he states.
While the actor is eager to pursue new opportunities in the entertainment industry, he acknowledges that his choice to leave television was welcomed with mixed feelings from his fans, friends, and even family. “My mom still misses watching me on TV because she used to see me every day in the show. She keeps saying, ‘Beta TV karle, mujhe dikhaayi nahi de raha hai tu.’ But, that’s somewhere you need to make up your mind and do something you really want to do,” he shares.
Parth Samthaan’s most recent professional appearance was in Netflix’s Social Currency. In the show, the actor played an introvert and competed against social media stars such as Bhavin Bhanushali, Vagmita Singh, Ruhi Singh, Rowhi Rai, and others. Samthaan debuted on Life OK’s Savdhaan India, MTV India’s Webbed, Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and Zing’s Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. He subsequently landed the major part of Prithvi Sanyal in Channel V’s Best Friends Forever? His breakout performance was as Manik Malhotra opposite Niti Taylor in MTV India’s Kaisi Yeh Yaarian.
