
On Sunday, PM Modi addressed the 73rd episode of the Mann Ki Baat programme, and the first episode of this year. In the episode, PM Modi discussed many important topics of the country with the various departments, and also stressed on the importance of women’s participation in different fields.
PM Modi also mentioned the historic event wherein Air India’s longest route flight flew with an all-women pilot team and landed at the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru with San Francisco, on 11th January. The flight flew over the North Pole and covered a distance of approximately 16,000 kilometres.

Upon this, Deepika Padukone took to her Twitter to show her support for PM Modi’s mention. Actor Kareena Kapoor also showed her support by sharing a post with the caption,”From flying non-stop commercial flights to taking part in Republic Day parades, women’s participation is increasing manifold.
