Riva Arora has been making it to the headlines and obviously for the wrong reasons. Nasty comments were passed on to the 12-year-old girl and her parents by netizens owing to her age. They have become the topic of debate on social media and they are accused of not letting their daughter live her childhood and questioning their upbringing. Finally, Arora’s mother Nisha Arora reacted to all questions and slammed netizens.
Nisha Arora, Riva’s mother took to her Instagram story section and shared a cryptic note. She mentioned that her daughter is part of the entertainment industry for years now and has achieved everything with dignity. She wrote, “I was calm, but not anymore. The allegations on my daughter’s age are completely false and it’s a saying that false news travels faster then ever and many reputed social media channel proved it. It is sad to see and disheartening for me.”
She continued, “Atleast you should have cross checked with me before upload on reputed pages. My daughter is an actor and working in industry since years (sic)” Riva also re-shared her mother’s story on he Instagram handle.
Nisha also spoke to India Forums and was quoted saying, “It’s unfortunate to see renowned publications spreading false information about a young girl without any verifications. My daughter is currently in the 10th grade. She has been working in the industry for more than 13 years and has achieved everything with utmost integrity and perseverance.”
Amid all this, Riva shared a picture and sarcastically slammed netizens and captioned, “Jealousy is the best compliment you can receive!”.
For the unversed, Riva, the 12-year-old girl was slammed by netizens for romancing 38-year-old Karan Kundrra in a video and even for dancing with 45-year-old Mika Singh.
For the unversed, Riva has appeared in many films and music videos. She is best known for her appearance in URI starring Vicky Kaushal who plays Mohit Raina’s daughter. Her cry at the funeral scene of Mohit Raina stole everyone’s heart. She also played young Gunjan in Gunjan Saxena.
