Sources reveal that Madhu Mantena is planning to cast Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone for his ambitious, 300-crore project ‘Ramayan’. The movie will be a 3D venture, and will be directed ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari.

It is believed that the film will be rather lengthy, as Mantena doesn’t want any detail of the Holy Scripture to be left out. For this very reason, conjectures suggest that Mantena may release his ambitious venture as two full-part feature films.
The informed source stated, “These are sensitive times. And the last thing the Ramayan needs is an underwhelming treatment or a revisionist screenplay. Mantena has deployed several researchers to project absolute accuracy and preserve complete sanctity in his film version of the venerated epic.”

The final cast of this grand scale project is yet to be finalized. However, it is believed that Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are certainly the first choices for the roles of Ram and Sita. Ravi Udyawar, who directed late Sridevi’s last movie ‘Mom’ is likely to be included in this 300-crore epic.
Apart from this, Hrithik and Deepika have already signed Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’ which is a patriotic-action drama. The film will go on floors in 2022. Both Hrithik and Deepika recently took to their Instagram to share the teaser of their upcoming project. Check it out below-
